Step-by-Step Guide to Achieve This Look Using Wella Professionals Koleston Perfect @Jimwellamcr
Step 1: Preparation
- Client Consultation – Assess the hair type, natural base, and condition. Discuss the desired outcome.
Step 2: Regrowth Application
- Formula: 30g 55/66 + 10g 0/65 with Welloxon Perfect 4% Developer.
- Application: Apply to the regrowth area only, ensuring full coverage.
Step 3: Mid-Lengths & Ends Application (Zig-Zag Ultra High Lights Technique)
- Sectioning – Divide the hair into four quadrants using the “hot cross bun” sectioning.
- Create Diagonal Zig-Zag Sections- Starting from the bottom, take wide diagonal zig-zag sections up to the top. This technique adds movement and dimension.
Alternate Between the Three Mixtures:
- Formula 1: 20g 55/46 + 20g 8/41 with Welloxon Perfect 6% Developer.
- Formula 2: 20g 7/43 with Welloxon Perfect 6% Developer.
- Formula 3: 20g 9/04 + 10g 8/34 with Welloxon Perfect 4% Developer.
Apply each formula in an alternating pattern to different sections for a multi-dimensional colour effect. Feather the colour down using a blending technique to create a seamless transition between shades.
Step 4: Processing & Rinsing
- Let the colour process for 30-40 minutes or until the desired tone is achieved.
- Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and follow with Wella Professionals Ultimate Smooth Shampoo to nourish and add shine.
- Apply Wella Color Post Treatment to neutralise oxidation and enhance longevity.
- Apply Wella Professions Ultimate Smooth Mask for a mirror-like finish.
- Apply Wella Professional Ultimate Smooth Miracle Oil Serum for UV, Heat Defence, and long-lasting smoothness.
This technique creates a rich, fiery blend of deep reds, copper tones, and soft golden hues, perfect for a bold yet natural-looking result!
