REGISTRATION

How do I register on Wellastore?

Click on 'Register' in the top right hand corner. If you are an existing customer, you can simply use your account number, or if a new customer you can complete the new registration form.

Where can I find my account number?

Your Wella account number can be found on your invoice.

What should I do if I get an error message saying my email already exists?

This means your email is already registered with an account number. Please contact Customer Service for more information.

Can multiple people within my salon place an order?

Yes - you can add multiple employees under the 'my employees' tab In the drop down menu.

I would like to order online for several of my salons, do I need to register each salon separately or can I use the same email address?

You can connect to several salons with the same email address. You need to register online for the first salon, then request Customer Service to add the other salons to your online.

COMMERCIAL CONDITIONS

I cannot see certain brands when I am logged in, why?

Some brands like WEDO, System Professional, Sebastian Professional and Sassoon benefit from special trading conditions. These brands are only available for hairdressing salons that meet specific criteria and/or a standard first order. If you would like more information on these brands you can contact your Account Manager.

ORDERING

What should I do if a product is not visible on Wellastore?

Contact Customer Services on 0203 9011163 (IE 1800 246100).

How can I order one of my past orders again?

To place a previous order again, click on your user name in the upper right corner of the store after you have successfully logged in to open the menu. Then go to the order history and click on the desired order number. Above the order overview you can now select the "Reorder" button. All products of the selected order will be added to your existing shopping cart. If you wish, you can still adjust the quantities in the shopping cart view.

I regularly order the same items, can I create a favorites list?

Yes, you can easily create your own personal favourites list. To do this, click on the heart symbol at the top right of the desired products. The product will be added to your favourites list. You can call them up at any time in the menu under the tab "My favourites".

Can I view my previous orders online?

You can find all of your previous orders from the 16th July 2021 under 'My Invoices'

Can I cancel my order?

Unfortunately once the order has been placed we are unable to cancel this order.

Will my Sales Representative be informed about my online orders?

Yes, online orders will be sent by mail to your Account Manager. This way they can check during your next visit whether to propose additional items and to ask about your online shopping experience.

Can my Sales Representative still take orders?

Yes, online ordering is simply an additional way for you to place your order when you need it. Ordering online does not change your relationship with your Account Manager.

PAYMENTS & DISCOUNTS

What are the payment modes available on Wellastore?

Payment is either on invoice as per your contractual agreement or credit card. Please note all online only customers are only able to pay with credit card.

Will my invoice discount be applied?

All contractual discount is applied to every order at checkout.

Do the product prices include VAT?

All prices are exluding VAT and this is applied at checkout.

Do I have the same promotions on Wellastore than via my Sales Representative?

We try wherever possible to replicate business promotions, however there may be occasions where Account Managers have introductory deals. In addition we run online only promotions from time to time.

How to use a promotion code?

Please enter any promotional code at checkout.

INVOICES

Where can I find my latest invoices and print a duplicate?

You can find all of your bills in the "My Invoices".

Where can I find the invoices of the orders that were done via my Sales Representative?

You can find all your invoices in the INVOICES tab from the account menu. You also have the possibility to see OPEN ITEMS (open invoices) in the same menu.

Will I receive an invoice for my online orders?

Yes, you will receive your invoice either via email or post. You can also access your invoice on Wellastore.

DELIVERY

How much does shipping cost?

Delivery is free if you spend over £/€100 net. For orders placed with a basket value below £/€100, a £/€4.99 delivery charge applies.

When should I expect my order to arrive after placing it?

Orders must be placed before 12pm to ensure dispatch today. We aim to deliver within one working day of dispatch for UK and two working days for Ireland but this can vary by location.

How can I track my order?

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a Shipment Confirmation email with your order details.

Can I select a desired delivery date?

Unfortunately this isn't possible at this time.

Can you deliver to an address other than my usual delivery address?

No you cannot add a different delivery address during checkout.

What happens if I haven't received my order?

Your password is potentially incorrect. Click "forgot password" and reset your password through email that will be sent to you

How can I reset my password?

"Have you forgotten your password and want to reset it? Click on ""Login"" in the upper right corner. Then select “Have you forgotten your password?”. Now enter your registered email address and follow the instructions in the email sent to you. If you are already logged in but would like to renew your password, then select the ""Password"" tab in the menu. Here you can easily change your old password to the new password of your choice."

I cannot find the email to reset my password - where can I find it?

How can I manage my account information?

You can manage and edit your account information in the 'account details' tab on the dropdown menu.

Can I download the order overview?

No, it is not possible to download the order overview.

I cannot find an order that I did with my Sales representative?

You have the possibility to see OFFLINE ORDERS in the order history.

How can I sign up for the Wellastore newsletters?

REGISTRATION

How do I create a Professional account?

To create a professional account you can click here and complete the registration form. You will need to attach a proof of public liability form or proof of enrolment on a relevant course at university/college if you are studying. Once completed, our Customer Care team will approve or decline your application. If approved your account will be activated in 2 to 3 working days if declined our Customer Care team will reach out to you on the email provided. You will receive an email when you are able to shop pro pricing, products and offers.

I already have an account number, but not an online account - what do I do?

If you already have a trading account and number with OPI but not an online account, you will be able to enter this number in when creating your account. Our Customer Care team will check your details once submitted and will approve you. You will get an email when your account is activated within 1 to 2 working days.

What should I do if I get an error message saying my email already exists?

OPI UK DELIVERS TO THE UK ONLY

Please note that OPI UK is NOT permitted to deliver OPI goods to The Republic of Ireland. We are unable to deliver to PO Box or BFPO addresses. We recommend you specify an alternative delivery address to your cardholder address when confirming your order details. The cost of packing and delivery is clearly displayed at the checkout for your approval before confirming your order. DELIVERY
Orders placed before 2.00pm (Monday-Thurs) will be delivered within 3 to 4 working days between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm. No orders are processed, dispatched, or delivered on Bank Holidays or weekends. Please note that you do need to sign for your delivery upon receipt. What can I do to ensure my salon is germ-free and safe for my clients?

Wash hands frequently with Swiss Blue Liquid Hand Soap, particularly after using the restroom, and between clients. Sanitize hands with Swiss Hand Guard Antiseptic Handwash Gel. Wash and sanitise hands again if you are interrupted during a service to answer the telephone or for any other activity. Require that clients wash and sanitize hands before services and when interrupted for any reason. Properly clean and disinfect stainless steel and other non-porous implements using OPI Spa Complete and the Swiss Clean Implement Soaker. Store disinfected implements in a sanitary, labeled container.

Can we use any hydro alcoholic gel instead of Swiss Guard with a manicure?

OPI Swiss Guard uses the same active ingredient in most hand sanitizer (Ethanol or Isopropyl Alcohol). OPI Swiss Guard contains slightly above 60% alcohol. Normal use of hand sanitizer should not impact OPI nail products, especially gel, hard gel, and powder (cured products with higher resistance to solvents). The solvent based formula (NL/IS) is also stable with normal use (excessive use with large amounts on nail surfaces can impact the shine of the formula). We recommend use of Swiss Guard during manicure services: its gel consistency works well with most services.

What OPI's position on animal testing?

We do not test our ingredients or products on animals. We are committed to ending animal testing across the beauty industry, and we never request our suppliers or contract manufacturers to test on animals. All our products are safe and have been developed, manufactured and packaged in compliance with the laws, regulations, and guidelines that are applicable in each country in which Wella Company sells them. Nail Lacquer

How does OPI choose its Nail Lacquer colours, themes and names for collections?

Is it safe to share the same bottle of lacquer with other clients in salons?

OPI Nail Lacquer and Infinite Shine use Ethyl Acetate, Butyl Acetate, Propyl Acetate as main solvents. Due to high levels of solvents, the formula is hostile for the virus. However, we recommend all surfaces in contact with hands should be disinfected.

My polish brush and cap separated what do I do?

Sometimes lacquer that is between the top of the brush stem and where it meets the bottle neck causes them to stick together. Simply separate the brush stem from the bottle so it is not stuck. Leaving the brush in the bottle, take the cap and screw it on like you normally would but do it slightly tighter this time. Unscrew the cap and viola!

What should I do if an OPI Nail Lacquer or Treatment becomes too thick to use?

Polish removers often have water, moisturisers, or other ingredients, which would ruin the polish. Pure acetone may cause polish to separate. So, we recommend OPI Lacquer Thinner which is formulated with the right combination of solvents. Adding a few drops to thickened nail lacquer or treatment will give a good smooth coat and the right drying time. We wouldn't recommend adding lacquer thinner to top coats.

Can I wear Nail Lacquer during pregnancy?

My Nail Lacquer cap is stuck! How do I fix this?

Flip the bottle over and drop a few drops of nail polish remover inside the cap and let sit for a 1-21 to 2 minutes, then flip back over and if it is really stuck, submerge in a bowl of hot water for up 3 minutes. Carefully remove and unscrew. If you are having trouble getting a good hold on the cap, wrap the cap with a rubber glove for extra grip!

My favourite OPI Nail Lacquer has been discontinued. Can I get it through OPI?

What could cause the product to lift or peel away from the free edge?

Improper nail prep, hands frequently in water, product applied on weak, thin nails, natural nails being too long, or very soft and flexible can all be causes of product lifting. another reason is if the free edge hasn't been capped with the basecoat, colour and topcoat. We would recommend using OPI ProSpa Nail & Cuticle Oil daily to ensure nails are in the best condition to pro-long wear of GelColor.

Can GelColor Top Coat be used over other enhancements?

Yes. It is a fast way to shine and seal enhancements. Finish filing with the 180 side of the FLEX Silver 100/180 Buffer, dust and cleanse, and apply GelColor Top Coat according to instructions. Keep in mind that removal with Expert Touch Lacquer Remover will soften or remove acrylics and tips. In this case, GelColor Top Coat would need to be filed off as part of the fill service.

Can I use GelColor Top Coat over OPI Nail Lacquer?

No. Nail lacquer contains solvents that continue to dissipate while drying down completely. GelColor Top Coat will not allow these solvents to evaporate.

Can I perform a fill with GelColor?

No. Trying to fill GelColor presents the risk for a fungal infection as liquid could become trapped under the lifted gel. It's actually easier and faster to remove it and reapply.

Can I use GelColor during pregnancy?

My client experienced a tingling or pinching sensation during removal.

If client experiences any sensation during removal (e.g. pressure, squeezing, pinching), remove wrap and gently file surface of gel only along side walls with an 180 Edge File. Resaturate foil wrap, rewrap nail, and continue soaking.

What should I charge for a GelColor service?

Prices should be based on your actual costs. Work out what you business costs are per minute and then times that by the number of minutes the treatments takes. Business costs (include rent, insurance, utility bills, booking system fees, training courses, website fee, everything you pay for for your business). Wages (include holiday, sickness, paye and nics, every employment cost you have, then work out a cost per minute) Product cost Profit margin VAT ( if applicable) And this will give you your price. I would say UK average to cover costs would be £30-£45

How long will a GelColor service last?

Up to three weeks, depending on the condition of the client's nails and how they uses their hands (e.g., exposure to chemicals, texting, typing, house or outdoor work, picking, etc).

Is GelColor a "hybrid" system?

No. GelColor is a 100% gel color which means it wears and protects like a gel, and stays shinier longer than any other gel available. GelColor Base Coat does contain both gel polymer and solvent-type polymers for faster removal.

Is there a warranty on the OPI LED Light?

My GelColor changed colours. Why did this happen?

Sometimes when different brands are mixed together, colour shifting occurs. We would suggest calling your salon and asking them to redo your service using the entire OPI system. If you are a Professional, we ask that you contact us with the batch codes for each product used so we can get to the bottom of why this happened.

I've heard that gel polish ruins your nails. Is this true?

Our GelColor does not damage the nail. The problem often starts with improper prep (too much filing of the nail plate) or improper removal. Never let someone scrape the GelColor from your nails. This pulls up layers of the nail plate and weakens the nail significantly. In addition, after the nail plate has been roughed up, a buffing is required which thins out the nail even more. Another problem is that sometimes clients will pick and peel their gels, causing way more damage than scraping would. To go for a true GelColor experience, we would suggest visiting a OPI certified salon.

Is LED curing safe?

Gel manicures and pedicures have been available, and safely used, in salons for more than three decades. Today's new-generation gel systems are easier and faster to use and safer than ever. Significantly, these types of products have been found safe by the Expert Panel on Cosmetic Ingredient Review. Moreover, the exposure every second or third week from today's newest and fastest gel lights is only three or four brief intervals of 30 seconds each. One gets more exposure spending a couple of additional minutes a day outdoors.

Can GelColor be cured with other LED or UV Lights?

For best results and optimum staying power, we would recommend using the OPI Starlight Lamp to cure. the OPI GelColor range has been designed as a three step system using OPI Base, colour and top coat under the Starlight Lamp.

What are GelColor by OPI cure times?

When using the OPI GelColor 3-step system, each stage will require 30 seconds curing in the OPI Starlight Lamp.

Why does my Nature Strong cap have speckles?

Our caps are made with 20% post-consumer recycled materials. As a brand, we have committed to reducing our carbon footprint, and therefore, have decided to not bleach or add colour to the cap to cover up the imperfections.

How to remove Nature Strong?

OPI Nature Strong removes easily with acetone or non acetone nail polish remover. Simply soak a piece of cotton or like material, and gently wipe away the colour until nail is left bare.

Who is the ideal client for a Powder Perfection service?

This service is ideal for a client that has weak, flexible nails that tear easily. This is perfect for clients that want long lasting colour with added strength and durability, but don’t want additional length.

My top coat has matte spots. Why is that?

Either you waited just a tiny bit too long before applying Top Coat or you applied too much in certain areas and there isn't enough Activator left on the nail to penetrate the Top Coat, resulting in matte spots. Next time, apply your first coat a little earlier than what you did before and make sure to apply a very thin coat in as few strokes as possible. An uneven or overly thick application will cause matting. Apply your first coat of Top Coat with a light touch, just enough to cover the nail.

I’m having trouble opening up OPI Powder Perfection Base Coat and Top Coat.

This is likely due to excess product being left on the neck of the OPI Powder Perfection Base Coat or Top Coat. Make sure to wipe off any excess product with an Expert Touch Nail Wipe saturated with either Expert Touch Lacquer Remover or N.A.S. 99 before closing each bottle.

My top coat isn't shiny and the entire nail is dull. What happened?

Often times the reason for the Top Coat not drying is due to not using enough activator before the final Top Coat application or applying way too much Top Coat at once. We suggest applying a heavier coat of Activator next time and waiting 1-21 to 2 minutes before applying Top Coat. An uneven or overly thick application will cause matting. Apply your first coat of Top Coat with a light touch, just enough to cover the nail.

How is this different from acrylics? Is this sculpt-able?

Powder Perfection is designed to create a protective overlay on the natural nail while providing long-lasting colour and shine. It creates a hard, durable surface similar to acrylics, but cannot be used to add length or shape.

Is Powder Perfection 3 free?

Yes, Powder Perfection is free of Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP), Formaldehyde, and Toulene.

Diamond Gel

Can I put Diamond Gel Top Gloss over GelColor?

This is not recommended. Diamond Gel is a hard gel and GelColor is a soft gel, so applying hard top coat over a flexible GelColor will cause the top coat to crack or crackle.

Is Diamond Gel soak off?

Diamond Gel is a buff off product. As you will infill this product at regular maintenance appointments you will rarely need to do a full removal. Diamond Gel is easy to file and can be removed easily when necessary. Training is recommended and we run classes for all levels.

Can I apply GelColor over Diamond Gel?

Yes, finish your Diamond Gel application with a 180 grit file, wipe with NAS 99 and then apply 2 coats of GelColor and GelColor topcoat. To infill Diamond Gel you will need to file of the GelColor to do the maintenance service.

How long does it take to remove Diamond Gel with a file vs an e-file?

35 minutes with a file vs 15/20 mins with an e-file.
